The new legal framework for digital business

The future of digital business in Serbia will be shaped by the new EU regulation 910/2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market. The Serbian Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications has prepared the draft Law on electronic document, electronic identification and trust services in e-business which is based on EU legislation. The new draft law replaces the existing Law on electronic document and the Law on electronic signature. IT law specialist Alex Petrovic, who worked on the new legal framework as a legal advisor to the EU project “e-business Development” in Serbia, presents the main points.
